Proton 8.0 już jest! Nowa wersja warstwy kompatybilności sprawia, że jeszcze więcej gier działa na Linuksie, a tym samym – na Steam Decku.
Proton 8.0 już jest
Proton to pełen zestaw narzędzi (chociażby DXVK, Wine), które pozwalają uruchomić gry z Windowsa na Linuksie. Ta warstwa kompatybilności jest stale rozwijana i właśnie została wydana w nowej wersji. Proton 8.0 to stabilna odsłona pozwalająca grać w kolejne gry, a także naprawiająca znane problemy. Biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że Steam Deck korzysta z Linuksa i jest zbudowany wokół technologii Proton, zmiany dotyczą także tej konsoli.
